Tasting Notes:Butterscotch, Creamy Body, Candy Pineapple
Situated in the mountains to the north of Huehuetenango, Guatemala is Pedro Villatoro Castillo's farm, Guayabales. The farm is well shaded and sits at a high altitude, which gives its crop some very unique characteristics. This cup carries a heavy body and mouth feel along with a tantalizing, tropical pineapple acidity. Its rich body showcases what we enjoy most about Guatemalan coffees; it gives the cup a particularly cozy feel that is exactly how coffee should be on a cold morning. The sweet yellow fruit finish rounds out every sip for an ideally balanced cup. Next time you enjoy a sunrise from above treeline, pair it with this awesome, high-altitude coffee.
